MY APPROACH

I believe in building a therapeutic relationship through unconditional positive regard together with a cognitive behavioral psychodynamic approach; an evidenced based practice. Additionally I use a family systems approach when working with families combined with play therapy for young children. When working with families it is important to include family members during separate sessions and together to help them achieve successful outcomes.

With extensive experience and training in individual, couples and families, and with crisis and case management, I will work in collaboration with outside providers that include school personnel, primary care physicians, psychiatrists, mediators, etc. to provide you and your family with a comprehensive treatment plan that includes measurable outcomes.
